Apostle Dr. Hadassah Marnetta M. Tate: (Yahbah)

Pastor, Teacher, Founder, President of G.D.O.M./B.A.T.S

Chief Apostle Dr. Hadassah Marnetta M.Tate was born in Chicago, Illinois. Being reared in a very spiritual environment, her spiritual awareness was enhanced at an early age by her wonderful parents, Minister Percy H. Topps and Evangelist M. Topps (both deceased).

 

Chief Apostle Hadassah Marnetta's parents formed a gospel singing group called the Gospel Wing Singers. The group traveled extensively singing and praising G-d by way of television, radio and numerous churches throughout the Chicago metropolitan area, its surrounding suburbs and other states blessing, inspiring and teaching many souls.

Chief Apostle Hadassah Marnetta Tate is very gifted and began playing keyboards at the age of 11 years old. Throughout her gospel music career she has been blessed to meet the late Mahalia Jackson (G-d mother), the late James Cleveland, the late Mother Meachum "radio," the late Isabelle Johnson "television", Brother Joseph Joiner "radio," and many others in the media, ministry and music fields.

Chief Apostle Hadassah Marnetta's parents taught Bible class and Sunday school in their home weekly. "Charity begins at home ad spread abroad," was her parents' motto. After graduating from South Shore High School in Chicago Illinois, she received her Cosmetologist License. She attended Kennedy King College and received her AA. She attended Come Alive Ministry of Faith in 1997 and received her ministerial license in 1998. She was ordained as a minister in 1999 at Faith of Abraham.

Chief Apostle Hadassah Marnetta furthered her education at Columbia College receiving her BA degree. She continued her education at Harold Washington College, receiving a certificate as Youth Specialist; she attended Chicago State University studying Elementary Education/Special Education as a minor. With her love and thirst for the ministry of God, she enrolled in G-More Theological studying Theology and Human Services, receiving her Ph.D./Th.D. which created a deeper hunger and thirst for the Word of God, she enrolled in Midwest Seminary, receiving another Ph.D. and Gospel Outreach Theological Institute of Texas receiving Th.D. She studied Hebrew Alphabets and Hebraic Foundation under the direction of j. R. Church and Rabbi Messner. She later received her licenses as an insurance agent in both Illinois and Indiana.


Chief Apostle Hadassah Marnetta is the mother of two adult children and five grandchildren. Her love for both adults and children especially the Seniors has allowed her to work in the Englewood community for the Chicago Commons, Mary McDowell settlement as a Youth Specialist and Assistant Director. She has taught self-esteem programs, nutritional classes, computer training, music vocal training and tutored children and adults.

Chief Apostle Hadasssah Marnetta is an accomplished musician of over forth years. She has been the musician for many churches and for the Chicago public system over the years, developing choirs and groups. She is high spirited and enjoys teaching, reading, learning, sports commentating fashion shows and family time. She has volunteered her services at the Continental Plaza Senior Citizen Home, Victory Center Independent Living for Seniors (Calumet City, IL), CRIS Radio for the seeing impaired, Spaulding School for the Impaired, Mary's Square (mentally challenged), Pacific Garden Missions for the homeless and many other organizations.

In July 1999, Chief Apostle Hadassah Marnetta was inspired to develop/organized G-d's Divine Order Ministries/Bible Artillery Training Seminary (B.A.T.S.). This course of study allows leaders and potential leaders to enhance and develop their ministerial calling while receiving a deeper/researched/holistic approach. This course is such a blessing and is currently in high demand.

Chief Apostle Hadassah Marnetta Tate's legacy is "If I can help somebody along the way, then my living shall not be in vain!"
